When a child is seriously ill, minutes and expertise both matter. Our Paediatric Intensive Care Unit provides continuous monitoring and intensive treatment for infants and children whose condition needs more than a ward can offer.
The PICU team works closely with our paediatricians and keeps parents informed at every step — clearly, honestly and as often as you need.

When to visit us
PICU admission comes through our emergency or paediatric teams. If your child looks seriously unwell — struggling to breathe, unusually drowsy, or not responding normally — come straight to emergency or call us immediately.
